The Bromantics

You need to see The Bromantics live!

Wearing letterman jackets, and singing Doo-wop and Motown hits in four-part harmony, this Saskatchewan musical group is a fun throwback to the innocent days of bobby socks and rolled up jeans.

The Bromantics' sound blends nostalgic favourites and contemporary pop. You’ll be singing along to heartbreaking love songs, and clapping and tapping your toes to rock and roll standards.

While they bop around on stage, The “Bros” camaraderie and talent are plain to see – and hear. The band is led by the charming Tim Lynchuk on vocals. Darius Wilson on keyboards has won two Juno Awards and Justin Hauck on drums has earned two Western Canadian Music Awards.

Poodle skirts, saddle shoes and crew cuts not required – but will be welcomed!

Kung Fu Regina Lion Dancers

The Kung Fu Lion Dance is built on teamwork, with movements steeped in traditional martial art skills. The drum thunders and the lions rouse from their slumber, wake and groom themselves to prepare for a new day. In searching for food, an offering is presented to them. The lions are delighted. They spread vegetable greens, symbolizing the lion’s blessings for fortune and abundance coming back to us!

The Lion Dance centers on kindness and unity. The deeper meaning of the dance stems from the core philosophy and ethics of Kung Fu. The Lion is a reflection of these ideals which guide and shape our outlook and actions.

The Kung Fu Regina Lion Team, in partnership with the Chinese Cultural Society of Saskatchewan, is a non-profit organization that for over forty years has been sharing the arts of Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Chi Kung and the Lion Dance.

Saskatchewan RCMP Pipes, Drums and Dancers

The Saskatchewan RCMP Pipes, Drums and Dancers have been parading and performing for over twenty years.

The band is formed of a mix of civilian volunteers, retired RCMP, and current serving RCMP officers. It is part of a national network of seven other RCMP bands spread across Canada.

The musicians and dancers routinely provide musical support to RCMP garrison functions, community parades and festivals. The group also enjoys a special relationship with the Lieutenant Governor, often supplying a solo piper for awards ceremonies.

Band members have travelled all over Canada in support of the RCMP as well as travelling internationally. They have attended the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Liberation of the Netherlands Celebrations, Basal Tattoo, the Shanghai Tourism Festival and many more international events.

The band parades under the authorization and partnership of both F Division and Depot Division RCMP Commanding Officers.

The Austrian Edelweiss Dance Group

The Regina Austrian Edelweiss Dancers have been in existence since 1978. Their dance ensemble consists of three groups starting at age five and including a junior, intermediate, and senior group

Many of their dances are traditional Austrian dances from the Bavarian countryside including schottisches, waltzes, and polkas. They love to perform at Retirement Communities, Care Homes and at their usual year-end wind-up, the festival of cultures in Regina known as Mosaic: A Festival of Cultures.
