Thai Ambassador visits Her Honour

Lieutenant Governor Bernadette McIntyre and His Excellency Darm Boontham, Ambassador of Thailand to Canada in front of the Portico Entrance of Government House, July 21st, 2026.

Tuesday morning, July 21st, 2026, the Lieutenant Governor welcomed to Government House His Excellency Darm Boontham, Ambassador of Thailand to Canada. His Excellency was accompanied by Counsellor Pichaya Adsakul, and Jeremy Chaiyapongpanid, Honorary Advisor of Thailand in Canada, Ministry of Commerce.

In addition to visiting with Her Honour in the Receiving Room, the Ambassador and his party enjoyed viewing the Amédée Forget Museum with its beautiful and historic exhibits from the days of the first Lieutenant Governor who worked and lived in Government House - Saskatchewan circa 1905.
