Requests for Written Messages
from the Lieutenant Governor
Please complete the following form to request a written message from the Lieutenant Governor for your group’s special event or milestone occasion.
Examples of occasions for which a written message may be provided include:
a printed or online program or booklet that is published in conjunction with a concert series, film festival, sports championship, or awards presentation
a message to be printed in the program of a major non-profit fundraiser or cultural event
a message that will be read aloud by an official at a special celebration such as a town’s centennial
a message that will be framed and displayed in recognition of a significant event like a building dedication, a monument unveiling, a milestone anniversary of a church or other institution
After you have submitted your request for a written message from the Lieutenant Governor, LGO staff may contact you to request further information and can confirm whether your request meets the criteria.
Requests submitted with this form are only received by the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan and are not shared with other officials.
Requests must be received by the LGO at least eight (8) weeks prior to the required delivery date. While we are pleased to accept requests with less than the required notice, we cannot guarantee that the message will be provided by the required date.
