Her Honour opened Agribition by Burning the Brand

On Monday morning, November 24th, 2025, Lieutenant Governor Bernadette McIntyre had the privilege of helping launch the 54th Canadian Western Agribition in Regina by participating in the "Burning of the Brand". Her Honour grew up in a farming family from Bethune, Saskatchewan, and has attended every Agribition since it began, so was thrilled by the opportunity to open the largest livestock show in Canada.

Beef cattle are a big part of the show. Agribition also features many other types of livestock and an extensive agribusiness trade show with diverse agricultural exhibits. On her visit, Her Honour enjoyed touring the barns, meeting exhibitors, and viewing the equipment displays.

Lieutenant Governor Bernadette McIntryre visited with the Canadian Wool Pellets team at Agribition 2025 in Regina on November 24th. His Majesty King Charles III is the Patron of the Campaign for Wool in Canada and internationally.

Agribition runs until Saturday night, November 29th ending wtih the Maple Leaf Circuit Finals Rodeo.
