Saskatchewan Lieutenant Governor Scholarships Awarded

Her Honour Bernadette McIntyre presented scholarships to Christopher Hansen and Megan Zak at the University of Regina on June 11th, 2026.

Congratulations to the winners of the 2026 Saskatchewan Lieutenant Governor Scholarships and the Saskatchewan Lieutenant Governor Indigenous Scholarships.

These scholarships are awarded annually to acknowledge academic excellence of students pursuing graduate or post-graduate studies at one of our two universities. The recipients each receive $20,000 to help fund studies and research.This year Her Honour Bernadette McIntyre presented scholarships on June 11th, 2026 at the University of Regina with Megan Zak receiving a Saskatchewan Lieutenant Governor Scholarship and Christopher Hansen receiving a Saskatchewan Lieutenant Governor Indigenous Scholarship.

On June 17th, 2026, Her Honour awarded Mehdi Khalaj a Saskatchewan Lieutenant Governor Scholarship and Katie Tolley a Saskatchewan Lieutenant Governor Indigenous Scholarship during a reception at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon.
